Twin Shadow announces fall tour in support of upcoming album

Twin Shadow Eclipse TourGeorge Lewis Jr., a.k.a. Twin Shadow, has announced a fall tour to support his upcoming third album. “The Eclipse Tour” will begin on September 17 in Northampton, Mass., and wrap up here in Philadelphia on October 26 at Union Transfer. The latest from Dev Hynes, better known as Blood Orange, is another track off the motion picture score of the upcoming Gia Coppola film Palo Alto. It’s called “April’s Bathroom Bummer” and it has more of the trappings of a song in service of a story than the title track. Hynes sings with a quiet, wounded emotion, and his vocals sound like they’re coming through a layer of mist.
