New Brunswick, NJ DIY veterans Screaming Females have been a steadfast force in the East Coast scene for over a decade, and it releases its seventh LP, All At Once, in February on Don Giovanni Records. This week, the band — led by acclaimed guitarist and songwriter Marisa Paternoster — announced its spring tour, which comes to Union Transfer on April 5th.

New Jersey punk rock power trio Screaming Females have a new 7″ for a song called called “Black Moon,” and it’s only available in one spot. Starting tomorrow at noon, a limited quantity of the vinyl single can be picked up at Spina Records in the band’s hometown of New Brunswick, New Jersey.From Spina’s Facebook post announcing the single:

Just Announced: Screaming Females fall tour kicks off at Johnny Brenda’s

New Brunswick / Philly favorites Screaming Females have made plans to spend the bulk of the fall on the road, reportedly bringing some new songs along for the ride. The run kicks off at Johnny Brenda’s on September 28th with Street Eaters; tickets are on sale now and available here.

With hints of new material to follow up 2015’s Rose Mountain on the way, the trio contributed a home recording of previously unreleased track “I’ll Make You Sorry” to a compilation benefiting Chelsea Manning last month.

Tomorrow night, Jersey independent label Don Giovanni Records kicks off its annual showcase — which this year has stretched into a three night affair, two at Brooklyn’s famed Knitting Factory and one at Philadelphia’s First Unitarian Church. The lineup is impressive to boot, a cross section of the label’s artists and friends with hardly any overlap between the three nights.
