On Thursday night, The Felice Brothers entertained a large crowd of folk lovers at Union Transfer. Their fan favorites combined with recent releases off their album Favorite Waitress called for an exciting show. The show kicked off with the mellow folk of Robert Ellis which was extremely relaxing on the ears. The contrast between the softness of Ellis and barnyard-brawl-like commotion of The Felice Brothers was what the crowd wanted, as more and more people filled in to pack the house for the headliner.

The Felice Brothers announce new album, Favorite Waitress, tour

The Felice BrothersThe Felice Brothers will release a new album, titled Favorite Waitress, on June 17 via Dualtone Records. It is the first album the band has recorded in a “proper studio” and is “their most fully realized statement yet,” according to their Facebook. “Favorite Waitress is about fantastic escape from the terrifying realities of modern life,” they add. Jeremy Backofen produced the 13-track effort this past December in Omaha. Check out the track list and a trailer below.
