Yesterday’s news becomes today’s #TBT thanks to Giraffage‘s take on R. Kelly’s remix to “Ignition,” released in celebration of his signing with Fool’s Gold. R&B remixes have become a staple of the San Francisco producer, and his take on the 2003 classic holds up to his high standard. The song incorporates a heavy 8-bit Mario sound to give it a little of that “toot toot” and a dash of trap to give it that “beep beep.” Stream it below.
