Directed by Riley Blakeway & Jeremy Asher Lynch, it’s a very stylish black-and-white performance clip and you can watch it below. Named after a Sam Cooke record and inspired by the legendary Texas psych mind melters 13th Floor Elevators, Night Beats seems pretty much destined to make a glorious meld of hazy, nuanced psych with a sugar rush of pop hither and yon.

The Seattle-via-Texas trio has just inked with Heavenly Recordings, and will be releasing new record Who Sold My Generation on the 19th of this month. From said record comes “No Cops,” a breathless dust storm of hellfire swagger that also happens to be infectious as all get out.
