The Fashionably Late Top 50 of 2015: Lord Huron

I am forever running late. While it may not be a part of my charm, I would refer you to the old saying about better late than never. In any case, after probably way too much thought, I finally settled upon my favorite 50 records from the year that was 2015. I’m also mixing it up a little this year, y’all. Instead of ranking every record, I’m giving you my picks in alphabetical order, saving my number one, very favorite record of the year for last. So sit back, relax, and refresh your memory of last year’s best with a ...

This just in: Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Lord Huron will co-headline the Fillmore Philadelphia on June 6th.

Rateliff and the band are returning to Philadelphia to perform the rowdy western version of blue-eyed soul they are known for, especially after enjoying success from their self-titled album and the single, “S.O.B.”

XPoNential Fest performers Lord Huron will also be there to play an eclectic folk-rock mix from their two albums, Lonesome Dreams (2012) and Strange Trails (2015).

Tickets for the show will ...

Monday Playlist: XpoNential Music Fest!

Source: Rock On Philly

Featured Image of Jim James by Justin Wise via Flickr

Ready for another amazing Music Festival this summer? Philadelphia’s own WXPN hosts the XpoNential Music Festival on the Camden Waterfront. The three-day event kicks off July 24th with three stages and thirty performers!

I’m mildly obsessed with J.D. McPherson‘s old school sound.

Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear‘s plucky guitar is fun and folk perfection. Everything about this duo makes me happy.

Dawes get their frowns turned around

and, finally, Vita and the Woolf Jen Pague’s voice is the stuff of dreams.

Listen to the full lineup tease here!
