XPN’s Gotta Hear Song of the Week: “That’s How We’re Living” by Jeb Loy Nichols

Bobby Womack, Al Green, George Jones, The Staple Singers, A Tribe Called Quest and The Sex Pistols. These are the musicians that influenced singer-songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols’ career as a musician himself.

Born in Wyoming, and raised in Missouri, Nichols found himself moving to London in 1981 after going to art school in New York in 1979. He formed the country dub band Fellow Travelers in 1990, and after a handful of records with the Travellers released his solo debut album, Lovers Knot, in 1997.
