SXSW adds over 500 artists to 2018 lineup (Low, Hinds, Girl Ray, La Luz & more)

The 2018 edition of SXSW will be here before we know it (March 9-18 in Austin, TX) and they’ve just announced a whole bunch more artists, including Hinds, Girl Ray, La Luz, A Place to Bury Strangers, Common Holly, Corridor, Flasher, Lali Puna, Lomelda, Low, Max Richter, Ought, The Shacks, Sloppy Jane, Smokepurpp, Spinning Coin, U.S. Girls, Wyclef Jean, and tons more.

M for Montreal 2017 Thursday: Corridor, Anemone, Pierre Kwenders & more

Thursday night (11/16) in Montreal was cold and rainy/snowy, that yucky “wintery mix” that is not so fun to be out in. On the plus side, I saw one of the best new things I’ve seen at M for Montreal in a while…or NYC for that matter. Corridor are the kind of band I’m prone to like, drawing influences from the warped pop of the post-punk era…
